Uniquip Group have been generous supporters of charitable causes since our inception and will continue to put back into the global community to develop, support and encourage those less fortunate or those who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in straitened circumstances in a bid to make some difference to as many lives as possible around the world.
The British Heart Foundation
The British Heart Foundation was founded in 1961 by a group of medical professionals who were concerned about the increasing death rate from cardiovascular disease. They are the UK’s number one heart charity and have funded 50 years of cutting edge research. www.bhf.org.uk
The RNLI
The RNLI provide, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the UK and Ireland, and a seasonal lifeguard service. With lifeboats, lifeguards, safety advice and flood rescue, the RNLI are committed to saving lives.
Great Ormond Street Hospital
Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is an international centre of excellence in child healthcare. Together with their research partner, the UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH), GOSH forms the UK’s only academic biomedical research centre specialising in paediatrics. Since its formation in 1852, the hospital has been dedicated to children’s healthcare and to finding new and better ways to treat childhood illnesses.
Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes was founded in 2007 to provide direct, practical support for wounded, injured and sick servicemen, women and veterans (‘the Blokes’) and their loved ones.
Air Ambulance
Herts Air Ambulance, unlike NHS emergency services, is a Charity providing a free life-saving Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the critically ill and injured of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
